About the event

We Can Still Dream!

Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Although MLK Day has passed, we can continue to dream boldly and work toward a brighter future, even in the face of today’s challenging political climate.

Join us for an inclusive community workshop where all are welcome to reflect, create, and dream together! The event begins with a short meditative reflection walk led by our Adventure Planner Raina, at Fairview Park, located just a 5-minute walk from the library. If you'd like to participate in the walk, please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress warmly.

We’ll meet at the library and leave for the walk at 1:45 PM, returning by 2:30 PM.

Following the walk, the vision/dream board workshop will begin at 2:45 PM. Together, we’ll honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy by reconnecting with our goals, releasing stress, and cultivating optimism for the future.
